Lesson 2: tree

This star burst technique works great on tree lights. Set your dial to VP, f/22, ISO 800 and use a tripod.

This is done with a very slow shutter speed while zooming out.
This 50 mm lens goes to f/1.8 for a narrow field of focus, which makes it easy to do bokeh in the background.
