1. Lake Powell
Besides being close to home, Lake Powell has been a great family vacation spot because we have gone with friends who make it a fun experience for our whole family.
2. PhiladelphiaTaking the horse drawn carriage tour of the old historic district is always fun. There is so much to see and learn about our country's history. We love Phili Cheesesteaks and visiting the grandparents in Haverford.
3. IsraelIsrael is a land of contrasts and historically significant to a majority of people in the world. We loved getting acquainted with so many wonderful people and walking where Jesus walked (and Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Noah, Adam, Solomon, David, Daniel, Lehi, Nephi, Sariah, Ruth, Esther, Mary, Eve, Sarah, Rebekah, Leah, Rachel, ...)
4. HawaiiI enjoy seeing my children enjoy the resorts, beaches, whale watching and activities.
5. DenmarkDenmark is a fine arts mecca with Carl Bloch paintings, sculptures by Bertel Torvaldsen, architecture, the restored ancient village of Gamel By and ancestral family homes.
6. GermanyDorothy and John gave us an insider's walking tour of Frankfurt that was delightful. We also loved Goethe's home, Annee's home, Rothenburg ob Tauber & the Rhine castles.
7. ItalyRome is thousands of years of historical landmarks layered on top of each other. I enjoy walking the streets of Pompeii, Venice, Florence and my old neighborhood in Naples.
8. EnglandEngland's history is our history. We enjoy the people and getting immersed in the culture, countryside and cuisine.
9. Holland AmericaThis cruise is literally life in the lap of luxury. We are so pampered we feel we are living the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Ports of call are just frosting on the cake.
10. IdahoWe loved the McCall family reunion, Coeur d'Alene, Sun Valley, Cache Valley, Snake River, & Meridian, but the big drawing card is hanging out with our grandkids and kids.

Wow, with all of those exotic locales and your experience as a world traveler, I am impressed that Idaho made the list.
You've been to some really fun places, and have been lucky enough to have family members with you most of the time. I especially like the picture of Jim in Germany.
Oh, and a note for Katie. Idaho should have been on my list, too. It was hard to decide what to put in and what to omit.
